For sizes, remember that an 18 pound baby can be slender or sturdy, depending on how tall s/he is. Small (up to 12 lbs: waist - 12" to 18": thigh - 7" to 11"). Medium (11 to 16 lbs: waist - 8" to 13": thigh - 14" to 23"). Large (15 to 21 lbs: waist - 9" to 14": thigh - 16" to 24"). Extra Large (20 to 25 lbs: waist - 10" to 15": thigh - 17" to 26").

These colorful shorts include a "swim diaper" made from soft 100% cotton knit, reinforced with an extra layer through the middle area.
