Returns and Exchanges
Items purchased “on sale” or as “seconds” cannot be returned or exchanged.

We will be happy to accept returns or exchanges on any unused/unwashed items bought online through bluepenguin.biz within 30 days of purchase.  Simply send the item(s) to us and your purchase price (less the complete amount of the original order’s shipping charge) will be refunded. If you prefer to exchange the item for a different size or style, we will do so immediately.  Please realize that sometimes extra information about a product will help you enjoy its benefits. If you have questions about our products, please contact us before you assume the item is not performing well and must be returned. If you have concerns or questions regarding your purchase or our policies, please email Customer Service or phone toll-free 888.422.2945 (888-4BABY45).

We do not reimburse shipping on returns or exchanges, nor do we pay the original shipping charge on returns. If we credit you for a return, we will credit you the amount paid for the item, less the original shipping on your order.

 

To return an item:
If you want to insure that we receive the item, please purchase tracking and/or insurance when you send the package to us. We cannot be responsible for packages we never receive!  In most cases, first-class postage has proven to be just fine, although it does not generally carry tracking options.
Include your order number, your name, return address, and phone number along with a brief description of the problem or reason for exchange. We'll handle it from that point and will call you if we have any questions.

Refunds are issued in your choice of crediting your payment method or for store credit.  Returns on orders received with free shipping are subject to actual shipping charges as well as the 10% restock/processing fee. Please allow up to 10 days from return shipment date for processing.

 

Refused Packages
Refused packages are subject to a 15% restock fee, plus the actual shipping charges that were originally paid by Blue Penguin. 

 

Guarantees/Warranties
Blue Penguin guarantees its products against defects in workmanship and materials for six months from the date of purchase.  If you have received a defective item, please return it and it will be promptly repaired or replaced and shipped back to you at our expense.  “Defective items” are those which have a construction mistake that makes the item unusable.  Examples of these mistakes include (but are not limited to) unsecured snaps or those that have fallen off or unraveled serging or stitching. Items are not considered defective is you decide you do not care for them or if they do not meet your performance expectations.

Your privacy is respected and protected at Blue Penguin, which is a secure site and a Yahoo! Store with the highest Internet security available. We will not distribute, share, trade or sell our customer information for any reason at any time, and we comply with all Yahoo! Store privacy policy requirements.

  • Credit Card Information

When you purchase products on line from Blue Penguin, your personal credit information is protected.  You will need to provide: Your Name, Mailing Address, Email Address, Telephone Number, Credit Card Number, Credit Card Expiration Date, Credit Card Security Number, Billing Address and Billing Telephone.

  • Other Personal Information

In addition to credit card information, if you communicate with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages, as well as your email address and our responses, for our records. We also may take notes as we speak with you on the phone.  These communications are documented solely to aid in providing the highest level of customer service and business integrity. Blue Penguin uses this information to insure orders are correct, to correspond about questions our customers may have, and also to notify customers about special products and offers that may be of interest to them.  When we send an email notice to our customers, there is always an “opt out” option available.  We do not want to burden our customers with undesired emails!

  • Website Information

Similar to other commercial Websites, through Yahoo! Stores Blue Penguin’s Website uses "cookies" (a standard Web technology, see below*) and Web server logs to collect information about how visitors are navigating our Website.  This data we can track may include pages viewed, referring Website, the date and time of visits, time spent at our Website whether the visit resulted in a purchase. This information is collected anonymously and there is no connection with specific individual visitors.  At Blue Penguin, we use this information to understand the actions of those visiting our Website, which then helps us improve the site and our customer service.  The information helps us understand how best to arrange the pages and content of our Website and also helps us collect business data.  We do not collect any personal and/or identifying information about our customers through this Web technology.
