If you look on the internet,
you will find numerous recipes for lotion for your cloth
wipes. Below are two of them. Almost all recipes ask for
a solution of baby lotion or shampoo; baby or other mild
oil; water and, if you wish, scents. The ratios of amounts
fluctuate from roughly four to one (water to oil and lotion)
to about six or seven to one. Some recipes also suggest
a small amount (1 tsp) of rubbing alcohol, and many suggest
refrigerating what you don’t immediately use.
BABY WIPES LOTION
RECIPE #1
Basic Lotion
2 cups water
1/2 cup of baby oil
1/2 cup mild baby bath
Put half
the wipes in the container. Mix together all ingredients
and pour ¼ of solution over half the wipes. Put other
add remaining wipes to container and add another ¼
of the solution. Store the remaining solution in your refrigerator
until needed.
BABY WIPES LOTION
RECIPE #2
Antibacterial Lotion
1/2 cup distilled water
1tsp cider vinegar
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
1 tbsp calendula infused oil
1 drop lavender essential oil
1 drop tea tree essential oil
Combine all the ingredients in a clean
jar and use to soak cloths to use as wipes for the diaper
area or to clean hands etc.
