These are made out of Hemp or Organic Cotton fleece. Our diaper doublers (called "soakers" by some) work well with any cloth diaper, providing extra layers of absorbency for nighttime diapering or for babies who are heavy wetters.

Hemp fabric makes a great, all natural interior for cloth soakers or doublers because of it's durability, absorbency, anti-mildew and anti-microbial properties. Both hemp and organic cotton are easier on the environment than other fabrics as they are grown without the use of pesticides.

The use of hemp or organic cotton fabric makes the doubler similar to the interior of a sweatshirt. The brushed side of the fabric is very soft and fluffy when it is brand new and as you wash it, the fluffiness decreases over time. Just like your favorite old sweatshirt, this diaper will still be soft and comfy (and absorbent!) for baby after repeated washings.

Features
Blue Penguin doublers fit snug and trim inside any diaper. Use these for days when you are out shopping, when you are traveling or for extra, overnight absorbency.

Hemp doublers: Consist of two layers of thirsty hemp fleece -- 55% hemp/45% cotton.

A bit of the fluffiness will disappear with the first few washings when using the hemp fleece and organic cotton fleece. The good news is that they still remain soft and only become more absorbent with time!
